🔧 Stainless Steel Clamp Band Set Type 4 with CNC Base Plate (260 mm)

Description

This stainless steel clamp band set for Type 4 engines is a well-engineered premium solution for building an upright fan system.

The system consists of a two-piece, robust clamp band combined with a precisely CNC-milled aluminum base plate. This creates a highly resilient and custom-fit base for mounting the alternator and fan components.

A decisive advantage lies in the design of the contact surface:
The straight milled surface on the engine housing significantly simplifies processing while achieving optimal sealing. This ensures clean installation and prevents leaks in the system.

The integrated ventilation block below the base plate functionally complements the system and ensures controlled engine ventilation.

A solution that takes installation, sealing, and stability to a new level. đŸ€™

Our Story

In 1991, the VW Beetle captivated us.

What started as a hobby quickly turned into a true passion: understanding, improving, and getting the most out of air-cooled engines.

With our background in model making and foundry craftsmanship, we began developing our own parts. The first Type 1 valve covers were just the beginning - soon followed by further development into the more precise O-ring seal.

Over the years, individual components evolved into more and more solutions: components, cylinder heads, and finally complete alternator sets for Type 1 and Type 4 engines.

To this day, what began in 1991 still drives us:
Enthusiasm for technology and performance for air-cooled VW engines.
